A family owned business since 1989, Bruce’s Recreation is a high quality, service-oriented company.

Bruce’s Recreation got its start when Bruce Wiseman decided that after 25 years of working for other people, he wanted to be his own employer. He bought the recreational vehicle business from his former boss, Alex Balsom. In November 1989, Bruce opened his doors with just himself, his wife Ivy and three other employees.

Aside from wanting to run his own business, Bruce saw a tremendous opportunity for a recreational vehicle store in the Clarenville area.

Eighteen years later, the business is thriving and continues to expand. It’s not just the volume of business that has expanded at Bruce’s Recreation, but also the line of products and services offered.

Bruce’s Recreation is one of the largest recreation dealerships in Newfoundland and Labrador. We sell and service industry-leading products from Honda, Ski-Doo, Can-Am, Lund, Fleetwood and many more!

As a full service recreational store we have in-house financing services, full service and parts departments staffed with factory trained technicians, a large inventory of new and pre-owned RVs, ATVs, snowmobiles, motorcycles, and more.

In 1989 we opened our doors with just five people working hard to make a new business succeed. Eighteen years later, we have over 20 dedicated staff providing clients with decades of combined experience.

Bruce’s Recreation is located in the Town of Clarenville, on the east coast of Newfoundland and Labrador. You can find us at 92 Balbo Drive – on the right hand side as you head towards Milton.

Our main facility includes a 7000 sq ft show room and offices, along with our Parts and Service Department.

We have 3 fully-equipped service bays in the main building, along with a large RV service facility in an adjacent building.

We also carry a large selection of new Fleetwood RVs, as well as used RVs, on our display lot.
